Project Description

The Project meets the overall objective of the Inter-institutional cooperation projects, proposed by the Programme Scholarships and inter‐institutional cooperation in higher education, financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009‐2014. It addresses the creation and development of a transnational network and an operational incubator for the academic environment, public authorities and civil society in the field of good governance and participatory democracy, increasing and strengthening the institutional cooperation between Romania and Iceland at the level of higher education sector and non-governmental organisations, in order to support innovation and improvement of the educational offer, teaching, research, mediation in participatory democracy, citizenship, advocacy and voluntary, transferring innovative approaches between partner institutions, approaches oriented to human capital development in order to meet the need for international competitiveness.
